Xamlathon unLIVE '10
It's been pretty quiet here for most of this year. Sorry about that, there's a stack of stuff I want to write about but I've just been crazy busy with work commitments of late.
So busy that I have, as yet, failed to deliver on a promise made to the beautiful folk of the dotnetdevnet group in the South West. About 5 months ago I presented a session called
Xamlathon LIVE '10. This was a very fast-paced experiment to create an interesting UI for a simple application right before their eyes in Expression Blend and Silverlight. The session was intended to be more inspiration than education but a number of people have since asked for a recording (or a write up) as it was hard to keep up and they'd like to see it again.
Well, at last, I come good on that promise. Recorded as the original session was intended - fast, rough, real, with mistakes and corrections, the lot. Hope you like it.
For the best quality you could download the
Original WMV file (1024x768, 214MB) - the link to download the video is at the bottom right.
If there's enough interest in this I may well find time to do more in a similar vein so please leave a comment and forward to others who you may think would be interested.
